All of us at Dr. Thomas Wu, DDS are aware of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic affecting us all. COVID-19 is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person between people who are in close contact with one another and through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
Our office has taken the utmost care to protect the patients and staff from transmission of communicable diseases. In the midst of the growing concern over the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking precautions to maintain a clean & sterile clinic. Our patient operatory rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected and all dental instrumentation is sterilized in accordance to the Infection Control guidelines set by the CDC. **Currently, in accordance to the Califonia Dental Association’s (CDA) recommendation (hyperlink: https://www.cda.org/Home/News-and-Events/COVID-19-coronavirus-Updates) our office is limiting all dental treatment to only urgent and emergency dental care. If you feel that you have an urgent dental matter that needs emergency care, please contact our office at (626) 286-7000.
If you are an emergency patient with an appointment scheduled with our office soon, please answer these following questions:
1.Are you sick?
2.Any respiratory symptoms or fever of 100° or higher in the last 48 hrs? Flu Symptoms? Cough?
3.Have you been sick recently (past 14 days)?
4.Have you been in close contact with anyone who has/may have the Coronavirus?
5.Have you traveled or taken a cruise outside the country in the past 2 wks?
If you answered “YES” to any of these following questions, please call us and notify our staff immediately.
